WHAT AN INITIAL CONSULTATION INVOLVES
We will have an informal chat about your current eating pattern (with absolutely no judgment), training program (if applicable), foods that you enjoy, your lifestyle, medical history, how you are feeling and any barriers to achieving your goals that that you may have. Together we will determine your priorities, develop some realistic goals and discuss steps to take to achieve these.
WHAT A FOLLOW UP CONSULTATION INVOLVES
During our follow-up consultations we will discuss how you are going with your eating, training and lifestyle goals and develop new goals and strategies as required. These consultations are important, as there is no 'quick fix' or 'one size fits all' approach to eating for long-term health & well-being and athletic performance. Some people use these follow-up consultations just to touch base and help them stay on track.
The number of follow-up consultations required varies depending on the client and their goals. However, for certain clients and health goals, more consistent follow-ups help people stay on track, develop new skills and make sustainable lifestyle changes. Some clients will require fortnightly follow-up at the start of their journey, followed by monthly then six monthly, depending on their progress.
