Food waste

fighting food waste

Did you know the average NSW household throws away $77 worth of edible food every week? That’s $4005 worth of food over one year – what could your family do with $4005 a year?

The Wholesome Collective are proud partners with the NSW Government ‘Love Food Hate Waste,’ initiative to help make reducing food waste the social norm in 2021.

One of the best ways to reduce food waste is to plan meals and snacks for the week. This will also save money and help your family eat healthier. The Wholesome Collective have created seasonal meal plans to show you how to plan your meals to save money and food waste in the home. Perhaps you will save more than $4000 a year with a little more planning.

Each meal plan provides new recipes to add to your cooking repertoire and can be downloaded for electronic use or printing.
